JoAnn Keith

JoAnn Keith is the pen name of JoAnn Wright and Richard Keith Herlig.

JoAnn Wright is a resident of the Kansas City area, born in the Ozark hills of Southern Missouri. She has spent her adult life as a working wife, mother, and grandmother. She attends an area fitness club, and enjoys riding her bicycle. She has participated in the MS-150, a 150 mile long bicycle ride to benefit Multiple Scleroses. She has recently found that she has a knack for writing short stories, and has discovered that we are never too old to dig deep and find things that interest us.

Richard Keith Herlig is a long time resident of Kansas City. He has a Ph.D. from the University of Missouri. Presently, he is Director of Research and Development for a food safety company. His writing experience is varied, including many feasibility studies, funding proposals, project reports, web sites, and even a patent. However, during recent years he has penned many stories about his personal experiences for his three children and five grand-children. In those stories, he discovered a knack for writing in a dialogue format, to bring the characters to life. He loves to sail, and attends an area fitness club on a regular basis.
