Brainstorming the PMBOK
® Guide

by Muhamed Abdomerovic

Most of the projects we do today can be managed according the PMBOK® Guide - an American National Standard for project management. I have written two books and a CD related to the PMBOK® Guide. The books and CD explain the practical side of the PMBOK® Guide and introduce this document to the public at large:

  • The paperback "Brainstorming The PMBOK® Guide" explains detail methodology for analysis of the PMBOK® Guide editions and reveals a practical side of the PMBOK® Guide 2000 Edition.
  • The e-book "Brainstorming The PMBOK® Guide Third Edition" reveals a practical side of the PMBOK® Guide Third Edition.
  • "Brainstorming the PMBOK® Guide - CD" is a collection of the original Power Point slides on CD-ROM, which may be used to lecture about the PMBOK® Guide 2000 Edition.

As a result, anyone who is involved in any type of project; in politics, government, administration, education, science, health care, product development, or construction can now apply the PMBOK® Guide. The books and CD do not question statements given in the PMBOK® Guide editions. They are just a pragmatic way to get better use of the PMBOK® Guide editions.

This unique and heavily illustrated reference books have been on the market for several years. As recognized by all reviewers, (www.pmpublications.net/brainstorm), including two Fellows of the Project Management Institute of America, the books:

  • Provide an integrated, holistic understanding of the content of the PMBOK® Guide.

  • Represent an extremely useful addition to the discipline, literature and practice of project management.

  • Explain how to plan, execute and control any project according to the PMBOK®Guide.

  • Fill the gap between the PMBOK® Guide and project management practice.
