Alec Baldwin made a generous donation for $250k this week to the East Hampton Library. The contribution was earmarked for expanding the library’s children’s wing which should begin construction next year.
The donation is the result of Alec Baldwin’s work on commercials for Capitol One credit cards. He said that the proceeds from doing those commercials would all go to nonprofit community organizations.
It’s always great to see famous celebrities supporting libraries. Way to go, Alec!
