Yet another digital milestone was passed yesterday by ebooks.
Amazon announced yesterday that they are currently selling more Kindle books than print books on their site for the first time. The numbers include both hardcover and paperback books.
The announcement also said that they sold more than three times the number of Kindle books this year than they did in the comparable period of 2010.
So people buying from Amazon are now buying more ebooks than all other physical books combined. That is absolutely amazing. The next milestone is for ebook sales to surpass sales of print books at all retail outlets.
