The University of Rochester stands out from other New York colleges with the heavy promotion of Halloween at their college library. Halloween can be a fun time at libraries, but it’s quite an event at the Rush Rhees Library.
They host an annual Scare Fair in the library and it’s a pretty big deal. They have dancers pretty much throughout the day, treats, a costume contest, and a campus ghost walk hosted by a professor from the school’s Department of Religion and Classics.
The college promotes the event on the homepage of their site.
Most people probably don’t think of the library as the place to go for Halloween, so we thought we’d mention this one and all the fun stuff they’re doing there.
